City of Parkland

Parkland, Florida 33067

The City of Parkland is a predominantly residential community of 11 square
miles in northwest Broward County, bordered by Palm Beach County to the north,
the Sawgrass Expressway to the south, State Road 7 to the east and a nature
conservation area to the west.
Since its incorporation in 1961, city planners and administrators have
employed a thoughtful approach to growth and development to maintain the city's
park-like atmosphere. Miles of bicycle paths and multi-purpose trails, an
equestrian center, recreation fields and parks enhance the quality of life for
the city's 21,000 residents.
In February 2004, the Parkland City Commission approved the merger of the
city's law enforcement operations with the Broward Sheriff's Office, effective
March 1, 2004. BSO’s Parkland district operates with an annual budget of $3.6
million and includes 33 personnel including 17 deputy sheriffs, 4 sergeants, 3
detectives, 4 school resource deputies, one chief, one lieutenant, 2 community
service aides and an administrative assistant.

year in Israel working with some of the most renowned Israeli artists..
Lea spent the next two years in Vancouver Canada before making Florida her

professional career as an artist and teaching at BCC, Lea decided to
pursue her real estate license. In 1980, she began working as an agent in
Miramar and North Miami Beach.
In 1982, Lea and her family moved to Margate where she began working for
the Debartello Corporation selling new construction homes that represented
some of Coral Springs finest builders. In 1988, Best Homes took over the
project and for the next four years Lea was Project Manager overseeing the
completion of the project. Over an eleven year period 1500 homes were
constructed. Lea's ability to help
buyers make the best decision for themselves‚ ВЅ
and educating the buyer or seller of the market‚ВЅs trends
at the time has helped Lea create an awesome following. Jim A. from KY
writes .She

all family members needs, but has done much research on a school for my
daughter. If my wife loves her that is all you need to know! Lea impressed
me with her area and industry knowledge.
In 1992, Lea joined Prudential Wites Realty and in her first year with the
company received Prudential Leading Edge award. Over the past 8 years she
has continued to treat her clients as friends, looking out for all of
their best interests. As the times and trends have evolved so has the real
estate industry, and Lea has been continuously chosen above her peers
because of her ability to blend in the new world of technology with the
personal caring touch that has won the hearts of her clients. The
past few years lea has received that Chairman's circle Platinum

Rubin
Wites was the President and, Broker/owner of Prudential Wites
Realty. In May 2000 he sold his company to Prudential Florida WCI Realty.
Today Rubin works with Lea Plotkin as a team on many of her transactions
and brings knowledge, expertise and unsurpassed people skills to the
table. "The team Of Rubin Wites and Lea Plotkin have been a great
source of comfort for all of those that had the fortune to be a part of
their transactions" says Mark, S. a client.
Since opening Wites Realty, Inc. in 1981, Rubin Wites built the company
into the #1 independent Realtor in western Broward County. In 1988, he was
invited to join a select network of the nation's most successful brokers
being organized by one of the world's largest and most recognized
corporations, .....Prudential.
His company was carefully selected to represent the prestigious Prudential
name. After through investigation, Rubin found the benefits and
opportunities that would be available to his firm, customers and clients
to be so outstanding that he became a Charter Member of Prudential Real
Estate Affiliate in March of 1989.
The Prudential Wites Realty, Inc., was then even better equipped to adhere
to Rubin's traditional philosophy which demands an emphasis on training
and personal involvement.
A graduate of Long Island University, with a B.S. in finance, Rubin moved
to Florida in 1973. He has witnessed the burgeoning growth in Broward
County & Boca Raton, including the infant stages of Coral Springs,
Parkland and Weston.
Rubin brought his finance and management background to real estate in
1978.
He was a multi-million dollar producer as a salesman and has projected his
successful methods to his staff. Actively involved in business and the
community, Rubin is a member of the Pompano Beach-North Broward Board of
Realtors [which has since merged with the Fort Lauderdale Board] . He has
been Past Chairman of Pompano's Multiple Listing Service Rules and
Regulations Committee and Chairman of the Realtor/Attorney Contracts
Committee. Rubin also served as the liaison between the Pompano Board of
Realtors and Realtron, the firm supplying real estate information to the
Board. Considered an expert on Real Estate in South Florida, he has been
quoted in the Fort Lauderdale News, The Herald, The South Florida Business
Journal and the Wall Street Journal. His articles on real estate topics
often appear in these and other publications.
Rubin's vast experience had enabled him to successfully design a company
that provided hometown attention along with sophisticated Real Estate
Services. Prudential Florida WCI Realty, one of the largest and fastest
growing firms in Florida carries on the same ideals on a much larger
level.
Of Course today he is a Broker Salesperson in an ever growing Real Estate
